RBL Check

Filename: sk2_rbl_plugin.php
Found in: sk2/sk2_plugins/

This plugin has been disabled for now since James Off’s main RBL server is no longer active.

The RBL Plugin used to check the author’s IP, URL, and content URLs against various DNSRBL (DNS Real-time Block Lists). By default, it used opm.blitzed.org and bl.blbl.org for IP lookups, and uri-bl.blbl.org for URLs. If a comment was tagged as spam, it would submit the URLs and IPs back to blbl.org.

For the full story about what happened to blbl.org, please see James Off’s blog category “RBL”.

Does anyone plan on using surbl.org?

(More details coming soon.)
