SK2 Quick Start
To install Spam Karma 2 for the first time
- After downloading, upload the SK2 directory, its plugin subdirectory, and all of their respective files to your WordPress plugins directory.
- Go to the WordPress Plugin Management page and activate or turn on Spam Karma 2.
- Run the Theme Check tests at the bottom of the page on SK2’s General Settings tab, then fix any noted theme-compatibility problems.
Using SK2
- The Recent Spam Harvest tab or page is where comments, trackbacks, and pingbacks marked as spam appear. If a submission in this list is not spam, simply mark its checkbox then press the button Recover Selected.
- The Approved Comments tab or page is where all approved comments, trackbacks, and pingbacks appear. If spam appears in this list, mark the checkbox next to the spam submission then press the button Moderate Selected.
Instead of using WordPress’s comments’ management page, it’s important to remember to use SK2’s Recent Spam Harvest and Approved Comments pages to manage your comments, trackbacks, and pingbacks.
That’s all you really need to know.
The SK2 User Guide has more-detailed explanations of the various tabs or pages, and functionality, of Spam Karma 2.

Hello,
I have uploaded the SK2 folder and all of its contents to my mu-plugins directory, per your instructions on the Mu forum.

However, when I go to activate it on my main Mu site plugin directory, I don’t see it. I haven’t been able to find a reference to this in the Mu forums so I thought I’d post it here.
I greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks a lot.
Russ
